Target Information
PBK (TOPK) is a serine/threonine kinase related to dual specific mitogen-activated protein kinase (MAPKK). It is up-regulated in various hematological malignancies, participates in activating lymphoid cells, and supports testicular function (spermatogenesis). Mitotic phosphorylation is required for its catalytic activity, suggesting roles in lymphoid cell activation and spermatogenesis.
