Target Information
3’,5’-cyclic nucleotides cAMP와 cGMP는 다양한 신호전달 경로에서 세포 내 2차 전달자로 작용합니다. PDE(Phosphodiesterases)는 cAMP와 cGMP를 대응하는 5’-monophosphates로 가수분해하여 신호를 조절합니다. PDE11A 유전자는 PDE 단백질 슈퍼패밀리의 구성원으로, 돌연변이는 쿠싱병(Cushing disease) 및 부신피질 과형성(adrenocortical hyperplasia)과 관련이 있습니다. 다양한 전사 변이체가 보고되어 있으며, 서로 다른 isoform을 암호화합니다.
