Target Information
Mitofusin 1 (MFN1)과 관련 단백질 MFN2는 미토콘드리아 막의 GTPase 단백질로, 미토콘드리아 대사에 중심적인 역할을 하며 비만 및 세포자멸사(apoptosis) 과정과 연관될 수 있습니다. MFN1과 MFN2는 동종 및 이종 복합체를 형성하여 미토콘드리아 융합을 조절하며, 배아 발달에 필수적입니다. MFN1이 과발현될 경우, 세포자멸사 단백질 Bax의 N-말단 구조 변화는 억제하지만 미토콘드리아로의 이동은 억제하지 않아 MFN1이 외막에서 Bax 활성 조절에 관여함을 시사합니다.
