Target Information
Pleiotrophin (PTN) is an 18 kDa secreted heparin and chondroitin-binding protein that acts as a regulatory cytokine critical for early development of blood vessels and neurons. Elevated PTN serum levels are associated with various solid tumors and multiple myeloma (MM). Expression of this protein is very limited in normal adult tissues.
