Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

The ABCB1 gene encodes a membrane-associated protein belonging to the ATP-binding cassette (ABC) transporter superfamily.
These proteins transport various molecules across cellular membranes and are divided into subfamilies including MDR/TAP, which is associated with multidrug resistance.
ABCB1 functions as an ATP-dependent drug efflux pump with broad substrate specificity, contributing to reduced drug accumulation in multidrug-resistant cells and resistance to anticancer drugs.
It also acts as a transporter in the blood-brain barrier.
