Target Information
Anti-Rabbit secondary antibodies are affinity-purified antibodies with well-characterized specificity for rabbit immunoglobulins. They are useful for detection, sorting, or purification of rabbit targets. Secondary antibodies enhance versatility and sensitivity by enabling multiple detection systems (e.g., HRP, AP, fluorescence) and signal amplification.
Most secondary antibodies are generated by immunizing host animals with pooled immunoglobulins from the target species, followed by purification and modification (immunoaffinity chromatography, fragmentation, label conjugation) to yield highly specific reagents.
