• Description: Monoclonal mouse IgG1 kappa immunoglobulin, useful as an isotype control.
• Applications Reported: Suitable for flow cytometric analysis.
• Applications Tested: Tested using mouse splenocytes and human peripheral blood cells; use at the same concentration as experimental antibody.
• Fluorochrome Details: Brilliant Violet™ 786 (BV786) emits at 786 nm and is optimized for cytometers with a 405 nm violet laser.
• Buffer Recommendations: When using multiple polymer dye-conjugated antibodies, use Super Bright Complete Staining Buffer (Cat. #SB-4401-42) or Brilliant Stain Buffer™ (Cat. #00-4409-75) to minimize non-specific interactions.
• Light Sensitivity: Protect from light; sensitive to photo-induced oxidation.
• Fixation: Compatible with IC Fixation Buffer (Cat. #00-8222-49) or 1-step Fix/Lyse Solution (Cat. #00-5333-54). Store samples up to 3 days at 4°C in the dark.
• Compatibility: Not compatible with methanol-based fixation.

Target Information

Mouse IgG1 is a subtype of immunoglobulin G antibody produced by B cells in response to antigens. It is the most abundant IgG subtype in serum and plays a key role in adaptive immunity, including:

• Opsonization
• Complement activation
• Antibody-dependent cell-mediated cytotoxicity
• Regulation of T and B cell activation

Widely used in research and diagnostics such as ELISA, Western blotting, and immunohistochemistry, and in therapeutic applications including immunotherapy and vaccine development.
