For maximum recovery, please spin prior to use.
Aliquots of 5 µg, 10 µg, and 20 µg sizes are not recommended; use directly from original packaging until exhausted.
For larger sizes, reduce freeze/thaw cycles by preparing aliquots (not below 20 µL).
Do not store kinase diluted.
Properly stored at -80°C, product stability is guaranteed for 6 months from date of purchase.

Target Information

Janus kinase 3 (JAK3) phosphorylates STAT (signal transduction and activators of transcription) family members.
JAK3 is mainly expressed in immune cells and mediates signaling in response to interleukin receptor activation.
Upon cytokine or interferon stimulation, JAKs phosphorylate adjacent tyrosine residues, activating STAT proteins which dimerize and translocate to the nucleus to regulate gene transcription.
JAK2 is essential for IFNγ receptor complex initiation, while JAK1 acts as an amplifier.
Studies suggest JAK2’s role may be substituted by Tyk2 and JAK3 under specific receptor configurations.
