Product Specific Information

Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems. The antibody DNA sequences are cloned from immunoreactive rabbits, and individual clones are screened to select optimal candidates for production.

Target Information

Interferons are therapeutic agents with anti-tumor and antiviral properties and immunomodulatory effects (Biron, 2001; Kirkwood, 2002). These cytokines act by binding to the Type I Interferon Receptor (IFNAR1).
Down-regulation of IFNAR1 influences the magnitude and duration of cytokine signaling, potentially regulated by phosphorylation of Serine 535 and 539 (Kumar et al., 2003).
