Target Information
이 유전자가 암호화하는 단백질은 tripartite motif(TRIM) 패밀리에 속합니다. TRIM 모티프는 세 개의 아연 결합 도메인(RING, B-box type 1, B-box type 2)과 coiled-coil 영역을 포함합니다.
단백질은 coiled-coil 영역을 통해 homo-oligomer를 형성하고 세포질 내 body에 위치합니다. E3 유비퀴틴 리가아제로 작용하며, 자가 유비퀴틴화를 통해 세포 내 위치를 조절합니다. 또한 레트로바이러스 제한에 관여할 가능성이 있습니다.
