Product Specific Information
Reconstitution: Add 50 µL double distilled water (DDW), depending on sample size.
The antibody ships as a lyophilized powder at room temperature. Upon arrival, store at −20°C.
Reconstituted solution can be kept at 4°C, protected from light, for up to 1 week.
For longer storage, aliquot and keep at −20°C. Avoid multiple freeze/thaw cycles.
Centrifuge all antibody preparations before use (10,000 × g, 5 min).
Target Information
The P2X4 receptor belongs to the family of purinoceptors for ATP and functions as a ligand-gated ion channel with high calcium permeability.
It shows the lowest sensitivity to antagonists suramin and PPADS among purinoceptor family members.
Multiple alternatively spliced transcript variants have been identified for this gene, though their full-length forms are not fully determined.
