Product Specific Information
Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems. Specific antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits are cloned and screened to select optimal candidates.
Advantages include:
- Excellent specificity and sensitivity
- Lot-to-lot consistency
- Animal origin-free formulation
- Broader immunoreactivity due to large rabbit immune repertoire
Target Information
The encoded protein belongs to the protein tyrosine phosphatase (PTP) family, which regulates cellular processes such as growth, differentiation, mitotic cycle, and oncogenic transformation.
This PTP contains two Src homology-2 domains that mediate phospho-tyrosine interactions with substrates.
It is widely expressed and plays a key role in signaling events related to mitogenic activation, metabolism, transcription regulation, and cell migration.
Mutations in this gene are associated with Noonan syndrome and acute myeloid leukemia.
For Research Use Only. Not for use in diagnostic procedures. Not for resale without express authorization.
