Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems developed by cloning specific antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits. Individual clones are screened to select optimal candidates for production.

Target Information
The encoded protein belongs to the protein tyrosine phosphatase (PTP) family, which regulates various cellular processes such as cell growth, differentiation, mitotic cycle, and oncogenic transformation.
This PTP contains two Src homology-2 domains that mediate phospho-tyrosine interactions with substrates. It is widely expressed and plays regulatory roles in cell signaling related to mitogenic activation, metabolic control, transcription regulation, and cell migration.
Mutations in this gene are associated with Noonan syndrome and acute myeloid leukemia.
