Target Information
TRPC4는 transient receptor potential cation channel의 canonical subfamily에 속하는 단백질로, Gq-coupled receptor 및 tyrosine kinase에 의해 활성화되는 비선택적 칼슘 투과성 양이온 채널을 형성합니다.
이 채널은 혈관 확장, 신경전달물질 방출, 세포 증식 등 다양한 생리적 과정에 관여하며, 특정 단일염기다형성(SNP)은 광과민성 간질과 관련이 있을 수 있습니다.
TRPC4는 여러 대체 스플라이싱 변형체를 가지며, TRPC1–7 유전자는 TRPC 채널 단백질을 암호화합니다.
TRPC4 관련 질환에는 Photosensitive Epilepsy가 포함됩니다.
또한 CaV3.3은 저전압 활성화형 T-type 칼슘 채널을 암호화하며, 신경세포 내 칼슘 신호전달에 관여합니다. CACNA1I 유전자는 Childhood Absence Epilepsy와 관련이 있습니다.
