Target Information
Granzyme B는 granzyme serine protease 계열에 속하며, cytotoxic T 세포와 NK 세포의 과립 내에 존재합니다. 이 단백질은 CGL1(cathepsin G-like-1) 또는 CTLA-1(cytotoxic T lymphocyte-associated serine esterase 1)로도 알려져 있으며, 세포 활성화 후 세포독성 T 림프구에서만 발현됩니다.
Granzyme B는 cytotoxic T 세포와의 상호작용을 통해 apoptosis를 유도하며, mannose 6-phosphate receptor를 통해 세포 사멸 신호를 전달합니다. 또한 caspase-3를 절단하여 DNA fragmentation을 유도하고, Bid 단백질을 절단하여 mitochondrial apoptosis 경로를 활성화할 수 있습니다.
Granzymes는 cytotoxic T lymphocytes(CTLs) 및 NK 세포의 특수한 lytic granules에 저장되는 중성 serine proteases입니다. Mouse에서는 여러 종류(A~G)의 granzymes가 확인되었으며, 인간에서는 일부만 클로닝 및 동정되었습니다.
