Target Information
GRK1은 G 단백질 결합 수용체 키나아제(GRK) 서브패밀리에 속하는 Ser/Thr 단백질 키나아제입니다.
이 단백질은 시각 색소 로돕신(rhodopsin)의 인산화를 촉매하여 막대세포의 빛에 대한 빠른 탈감작을 매개합니다.
GRK1의 결함은 Oguchi disease 2(정지성 야맹증, Oguchi type-2)와 관련이 있습니다.
또한 GRK1은 PKA에 의해 인산화될 수 있으며, 이는 rhodopsin 인산화 능력을 감소시킵니다.
이러한 인산화는 어두운 환경에서 cAMP 수준이 높을 때 발생하는 것으로 추정됩니다.
