Target Information
eIF3H는 진핵 번역 개시 인자 복합체(eIF-3)의 구성 요소로, 단백질 합성 개시 단계에서 여러 과정에 필수적입니다.
eIF-3 복합체는 40S 리보솜과 결합하여 eIF-1, eIF-1A, eIF-2:GTP:methionyl-tRNAi, eIF-5를 모집해 43S pre-initiation complex(43S PIC)를 형성합니다.
또한 mRNA의 모집 및 스캐닝을 촉진하며, 리보솜 복합체의 재활용과 40S/60S 소단위체의 조기 결합 방지를 돕습니다.
eIF-3는 세포 증식, 분화, 세포사멸 관련 mRNA의 번역을 선택적으로 조절하며, RNA stem-loop 결합 양식에 따라 번역 활성화 또는 억제를 수행합니다.
