This antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using an epitope-specific immunogen. The purity is greater than 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Target Information
SPT16 and SSRP1 are present in all eukaryotic cells as an essential heterodimer complex known as FACT (Facilitates Chromatin Transcription). This complex enhances RNA polymerase II processivity through nucleosomes and may also play a role in DNA replication by facilitating polymerase progression through nucleosomal structures.
