Target Information
DR5 (Apo2, TRAIL-R2, TRICK2, KILLER)는 TRAIL에 의해 유도되는 세포사멸(apoptosis)을 매개하는 death domain을 포함한 수용체입니다. DR5는 TNF-receptor superfamily에 속하며, 세포내 death domain을 가지고 있습니다. DR5는 TNFSF10/TRAIL/APO-2L에 의해 활성화되어 apoptosis 신호를 전달합니다. FADD-deficient 마우스 연구 결과, DR5 매개 apoptosis에는 death domain을 가진 어댑터 단백질 FADD가 필요함이 밝혀졌습니다. DR5는 두 가지 전사 변이체와 하나의 비암호화 전사체를 가지며, 과발현 시 apoptosis를 유도하고 NF-κB를 활성화합니다. 림프구와 비장에서 특히 높은 수준으로 발현되며, DR5 기능 이상은 편평세포암 및 확산성 침윤 림프구증후군 등과 관련이 있습니다.
