Product Specific Information
Rehydrate with 1.1 mL of deionized water and let stand 30 minutes at room temperature to dissolve. (Product has been overfilled to ensure complete recovery.)
Centrifuge to remove any particulates. Prepare fresh working dilution daily.
Shelf life: 1 year from date of receipt.
Prepare working dilution prior to use and discard after use.
Based on immunoelectrophoresis, no reactivity is observed to non-immunoglobulin sheep serum proteins or IgG from human, mouse, or rabbit.
Target Information
Anti-Sheep secondary antibodies are affinity-purified antibodies with well-characterized specificity for ovine (sheep) immunoglobulins.
They are useful in detection, sorting, or purification of their specified targets.
Secondary antibodies provide:
- Increased versatility for multiple detection systems (e.g., HRP, AP, fluorescence)
- Enhanced sensitivity through signal amplification
These antibodies are typically generated by immunizing the host with pooled immunoglobulins from the target species and are further purified or modified (e.g., immunoaffinity chromatography, fragmentation, label conjugation) for high specificity.
