Target Information
Anti-Sheep secondary antibodies are affinity-purified antibodies with well-characterized specificity for ovine (sheep) immunoglobulins. They are useful for detection, sorting, or purification of sheep antibodies. Secondary antibodies increase versatility and sensitivity by enabling multiple detection systems (e.g., HRP, AP, fluorescence) and signal amplification, as multiple secondary antibodies can bind to a single primary antibody. These antibodies are typically generated by immunizing the host animal with pooled immunoglobulins from the target species, followed by purification and modification (e.g., immunoaffinity chromatography, antibody fragmentation, label conjugation) to produce highly specific reagents.
