This product is preservative-free. It is recommended to add sodium azide to avoid contamination (final concentration 0.05%–0.1%).

Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems. The antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits are cloned and screened to select optimal candidates.

Target Information

Cell-mediated immune responses are initiated by T lymphocytes that recognize peptides bound to MHC molecules on antigen-presenting cells (APCs). Activated T cells express receptors such as PD-1 (also known as PDCD-1), which mediate inhibitory signals from APCs.
PD-1 binds to ligands PDL-1 and PDL-2, transmitting inhibitory signals that regulate immune activation in the absence of danger signals (e.g., LPS).
PD1-deficient mice show hyperactivated immune systems and autoimmune diseases.
Despite its predicted molecular weight, PD-1 often migrates at a higher molecular weight in SDS-PAGE.
