Product Specific Information
The monoclonal antibody SolA15 recognizes mouse and rat Ki-67, a 300 kDa nuclear protein expressed during all active phases of the cell cycle (G1, S, G2, and mitosis), but absent in resting cells (G0).
Ki-67 serves as a proliferation marker, with the Ki-67 labeling index used to evaluate tumor growth and prognosis.
The SolA15 antibody also reacts with human, non-human primate, and canine Ki-67.
Applications include intracellular staining for flow cytometry, immunohistochemistry, and immunocytochemistry.
Tested Applications:
- Flow cytometry of stimulated mouse splenocytes (≤0.125 µg/test)
- Immunocytochemistry on fixed and permeabilized C2C12 cells (≤10 µg/mL)

Target Information
Ki-67 is a nuclear protein expressed during late G1, S, G2, and M phases of the cell cycle.
It associates with euchromatin and heterochromatin through its FHA domain and shows cell cycle–dependent localization.
Ki-67 is widely used as a cell proliferation marker, correlating with tumor grade and prognosis.
In neoplastic tissues, low Ki-67 index indicates low-grade tumors.
It is also used as a neuronal marker for cell cycling and proliferation.
