Product Specific Information
This antibody recognizes the rat RT1A MHC class I antigen binding to a monomorphic epitope expressed by all rat strains, although strains of haplotype c more weakly.
Mouse anti-Rat MHC Class I RT1A antibody, clone F16-4-4, is routinely tested in flow cytometry on rat splenocytes.
Target Information
This protein is a non-polymorphic determinant of rat MHC Class I, also known as RT1-A. Rat MHC Class I is expressed on all nucleated cells and erythrocytes.
HLA and MHC antibodies play a significant role in Immunopeptidomics, facilitating the identification and characterization of neoantigens through high-performance liquid chromatography coupled to tandem mass spectrometry.
