Target Information
CUL5는 여러 SCF-like ECS (Elongin-Cullin 2/5-SOCS-box protein) E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase 복합체의 핵심 구성 요소로, 표적 단백질의 유비퀴틴화 및 프로테아좀 분해를 매개합니다. Scaffold 단백질로서 기질과 유비퀴틴 결합 효소의 위치를 조정하여 촉매 작용에 기여할 수 있습니다. E3 복합체의 기능적 특이성은 기질 인식 구성 요소에 따라 달라집니다. ECS(SOCS1)은 JAk2의 유비퀴틴화를 유도하며, adenovirus E1B-55 kDa 단백질에 의해 자극된 p53/TP53의 분해에 관여할 수 있습니다. 또한 세포 표면 바소프레신 수용체 형성에 관여할 가능성이 있습니다.
