Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL (Product #89882).
Target Information
The HADH gene encodes a mitochondrial matrix enzyme involved in the oxidation of straight-chain 3-hydroxyacyl-CoAs in the beta-oxidation pathway.
Its enzymatic activity is highest with medium-chain-length fatty acids.
Mutations in this gene are associated with familial hyperinsulinemic hypoglycemia.
A related pseudogene exists on chromosome 15 in the human genome.
