CD31 (platelet endothelial cell adhesion molecule-1, PECAM-1)는 T세포 및 B세포 신호 조절에 관여하는 억제성 공동수용체로, ITIM(면역수용체 티로신 기반 억제 모티프)을 통해 인산화 후 단백질 티로신 인산화효소의 결합 부위를 제공합니다. CD31은 혈관계 내에서 널리 발현되며 인접 세포 간 접합부에 주로 위치합니다. N-말단 Ig-like 도메인은 동종 결합을 담당하며, 세포 간 상호작용에 중요한 역할을 합니다. 또한 CD31은 세포 부착, 혈관신생, 세포 이동, 면역조절, 자가면역, 식세포작용, 알레르기 반응 및 혈전 형성 등 다양한 생물학적 과정에 관여하는 다기능 분자입니다. 혈관계의 주요 조절 인자로 알려져 있습니다.
