Target Information
Interleukin-1 beta (IL-1β)는 단핵구, 대식세포, 수지상세포에서 발현되는 염증성 사이토카인입니다.
IL-1β는 염증 자극에 반응하여 31 kDa 크기의 비활성 전구체 형태로 합성되며, inflammasome 활성화에 의해 17 kDa 활성형으로 절단됩니다.
활성화된 caspase-1이 pro-IL-1β를 절단하여 활성형을 생성하며, IL-1β는 전통적인 ER/Golgi 경로 대신 비정상적인 분비 메커니즘을 통해 방출됩니다.
IL-1β는 IL-1RI 및 IL-1RII 수용체를 통해 신호를 전달하며, IL-1 Receptor Antagonist (IL-1RA)에 의해 조절됩니다.
