This product is preservative-free. It is recommended to add sodium azide to avoid contamination (final concentration 0.05%–0.1%).
Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems. The expression systems are developed by cloning the specific antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits. Individual clones are screened to select the best candidates for production.

This antibody has specificity for Human NQO1.
Target Information
NQO1 is a member of the NAD(P)H dehydrogenase (quinone) family and a cytoplasmic 2-electron reductase. This FAD-binding protein forms homodimers and reduces quinones to hydroquinones. NQO1’s enzymatic activity prevents the one-electron reduction of quinones that results in the production of radical species. Altered expression of the protein has been observed in many tumors and is also associated with Alzheimer’s disease (AD).
