Product Specific Information
The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using an epitope-specific immunogen. The purity is greater than 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Target Information
The PNMT gene encodes an enzyme that catalyzes the final step in catecholamine biosynthesis, converting norepinephrine to epinephrine (adrenaline). It also exhibits beta-carboline 2N-methyltransferase activity and plays a key role in regulating epinephrine production.
