Target Information
MUC1 (Mucin 1, Episialin, MAM-6, CA 15-3, PEM, EMA)는 대부분의 선상 및 관상 상피세포, 일부 조혈세포 계통에서 발현되는 대형 세포막 점액당단백질입니다.
이 단백질은 점액형 외부 도메인을 가지며, 여러 형태의 당화 과정을 거쳐 다양한 분자량을 갖습니다.
MUC1은 90% 이상의 유방암 및 전이암에서 과발현되며, 비정상적인 세포 내 위치 변화 및 당화 패턴 변화가 암과 관련되어 있습니다.
또한 MUC1은 여러 cebB 수용체와 결합하며, EGFR(erbB1)과 공위치하는 것으로 알려져 있습니다.
여러 스플라이싱 변형체가 존재하며, 일부는 전체 길이가 규명되어 있습니다.
