Product Specific Information
- Immunohistochemistry (PFA fixed): Incubate antibody for 30 minutes at room temperature (RT).
- Staining of formalin-fixed tissues requires boiling tissue sections in 10 mM citrate buffer (pH 6.0) for 10–20 minutes, followed by cooling at RT for 20 minutes.
Target Information
Biotin is a water-soluble B complex vitamin, generally classified as Vitamin B7.
It is required by all organisms and can only be synthesized by bacteria, yeasts, molds, algae, and some plant species.
Biotin is essential for incorporation of carbon dioxide into organic compounds and has a molecular weight of approximately 244 Da.
