Antibody detects endogenous levels of ANKRD28 only when phosphorylated at Ser1007.
Target Information
ANKRD28 is a putative regulatory subunit of protein phosphatase 6 (PP6) that may be involved in the recognition of phosphoprotein substrates. It participates in PP6-mediated dephosphorylation of NFKBIE, opposing its degradation in response to TNF-alpha. ANKRD28 selectively inhibits the phosphatase activity of PPP1C and modulates HNRPK phosphorylation. It regulates phosphorylation of hnRNP-K at Ser284, suggesting a role in targeted dephosphorylation through PP1 interaction.
