For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments using this carrier-free antibody, perform an additional desalting step (e.g., Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

CD31 (platelet endothelial cell adhesion molecule-1, PECAM-1) is an inhibitory coreceptor regulating T and B cell signaling through dual ITIM motifs. Upon phosphorylation, these motifs provide docking sites for protein-tyrosine phosphatases. CD31 is widely expressed in vascular compartments, mainly at cell junctions. Its N-terminal Ig-like domain mediates homophilic binding, crucial for cell-cell interactions.
CD31 functions in integrin-mediated adhesion, transendothelial migration, angiogenesis, apoptosis, immunoreceptor signaling regulation, autoimmunity, macrophage phagocytosis, IgE-mediated anaphylaxis, and thrombosis. It is a key regulatory molecule in the vascular system.
