Product Specific Information
Reconstitution: Add 25 µL, 50 µL, or 0.2 mL double distilled water (DDW) depending on sample size.
The antibody ships as a lyophilized powder at room temperature. Upon arrival, store at -20°C.
Reconstituted solution can be stored at 4°C for up to 1 week. For longer storage, aliquot and keep at -20°C.
Avoid multiple freeze/thaw cycles. Centrifuge all antibody preparations before use (10,000 × g, 5 min).

Gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA) is a major inhibitory neurotransmitter found throughout the central nervous system.
GABA is formed by decarboxylation of glutamate, resulting in two receptor types: GABA-A and GABA-B.
Binding of GABA to GABA-A receptors increases chloride ion influx into neurons, leading to signal repression.
Deficiency in GABA-mediated signaling may cause uncontrolled neuronal activity, leading to blackouts, rapid muscle contractions, seizures, and epilepsy.
