• Reconstitution:
  Reconstitute with 25 µL, 50 µL, or 0.2 mL of double distilled water (DDW), depending on sample size.
  The antibody ships as a lyophilized powder at room temperature.
  Upon arrival, store at -20°C.
  The reconstituted solution can be stored at 4°C for up to 1 week.
  For long-term storage, aliquot and freeze at -20°C.
  Avoid multiple freeze/thaw cycles.
  Centrifuge all antibody preparations before use (10,000 × g, 5 min).

Target Information

The GABRE gene encodes the epsilon subunit of the gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA) A receptor, a ligand-gated chloride channel mediating inhibitory synaptic transmission in the central nervous system.
It is located on chromosome Xq28 within a cluster containing alpha 3, beta 4, and theta subunit genes.
Alternative splice variants exist, but only one is known to encode a functional protein.
