Product Specific Information
For immunohistochemistry (PFA fixed): incubate antibody for 30 minutes at room temperature.
Staining of formalin-fixed tissues requires heating tissue sections in 10 mM Tris with 1 mM EDTA, pH 9.0, for 45 minutes at 95°C, followed by cooling at room temperature for 20 minutes.
Target Information
Albumin is a soluble, monomeric protein comprising about half of the blood serum protein content. It functions mainly as a carrier protein for steroids, fatty acids, and thyroid hormones and helps stabilize extracellular fluid volume.
Albumin is a globular, unglycosylated serum protein with a molecular weight of approximately 65,000. It is synthesized in the liver as preproalbumin, which undergoes sequential processing to form proalbumin and finally mature albumin secreted into the bloodstream.
