Target Information
PTP PEST is an 88 kDa cytosolic protein tyrosine phosphatase ubiquitously expressed in mammalian tissues. It exhibits high specific activity with artificial tyrosine-phosphorylated substrates in vitro. PTP PEST is regulated via phosphorylation of Ser39, catalyzed by both protein kinase C and protein kinase A.
