Target Information
PTP PEST is an 88 kDa cytosolic protein tyrosine phosphatase ubiquitously expressed in mammalian tissues. It exhibits high specific activity in vitro with artificial tyrosine-phosphorylated substrates. PTP PEST is regulated via phosphorylation of serine 39, catalyzed by protein kinase C and protein kinase A.
