Target Information
TRPC5는 transient receptor potential (TRP) family에 속하는 단백질로, 7개의 TRPC 단백질 중 하나입니다.
이 단백질은 다중 통과 막 단백질로, 수용체 활성화 비선택적 칼슘 투과성 양이온 채널을 형성합니다.
TRPC5는 단독으로 또는 TRPC1, TRPC3, TRPC4와의 이합체 형태로 작용할 수 있으며, calmodulin, CABP1, enkurin, NHERF, MX1, RNF24, SESTD1 등 다양한 단백질과 상호작용합니다.
수용체 티로신 키나아제 또는 G-단백질 결합 수용체에 의해 활성화되는 phosphatidylinositol 신호전달계에 의해 조절되며, 세포 내 칼슘 저장소 고갈에 의해 활성화될 수도 있습니다.
TRPC5 관련 질환으로는 Hypertrophic Pyloric Stenosis 및 Pyloric Stenosis가 보고되어 있습니다.
