This product is preservative free. It is recommended to add sodium azide to avoid contamination (final concentration 0.05%–0.1%).
Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems by cloning specific antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits. Individual clones are screened to select optimal candidates for production.

This antibody is specific for Human ASGR2/ASGPR2.
Target Information
ASGR2 is a cell surface receptor that binds galactose-terminated glycoproteins. It mediates their transport through membrane vesicles and tubules to acidic-sorting organelles, where receptor-ligand dissociation occurs. The receptor is then recycled back to the cell surface. Four alternatively spliced transcript variants and multiple polyadenylation sites exist for this gene.
