- For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve ~1 mg/mL antibody concentration.
- For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step (Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
O6-Methylguanine-DNA Methyltransferase (MGMT) is a DNA repair protein that confers resistance to alkylating chemotherapeutic agents by removing alkyl groups from the O6 position of guanine. It protects normal cells from genotoxic and carcinogenic effects of DNA alkylation. MGMT expression levels vary by cell type, tissue, species, and tumor characteristics.
