Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step (e.g., using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
Estrogen-related receptor alpha 1 (ERRα, ERR1) is an orphan nuclear hormone receptor. ERR family members share a highly conserved DNA-binding domain with 68% amino acid identity to the estrogen receptor. ERRα binds to an ERRα response element (ERRE) containing the consensus half-site 5'-tnaaggtca-3' and interacts with the MCAD response element NRRE-1, acting as a regulator of MCAD promoter activity. ERR1 is implicated in metabolic regulation and is highly expressed in tissues that preferentially metabolize fatty acids. The corresponding gene is NR3B1.
