This antibody detects endogenous levels of RSK2 only when phosphorylated at Ser369.
Target Information
RPS6KA3 (RSK2) is a serine/threonine kinase that regulates multiple cellular processes including transcription, adhesion, growth, survival, and proliferation. It contains two distinct kinase domains and phosphorylates various substrates, including members of the MAPK signaling pathway. The activity of RSK2 is associated with cell growth and differentiation, and mutations in the RPS6KA3 gene are linked to Coffin-Lowry syndrome (CLS).
