Target Information
CD371, also known as CLEC12A or Myeloid Inhibitory C-type Lectin-like receptor (MICL), is a highly glycosylated transmembrane receptor containing a cytoplasmic ITIM domain that associates with SHP1 and SHP2.
It is mainly expressed on granulocytes, monocytes, macrophages, and dendritic cells, including plasmacytoid dendritic cells. Expression on NK cells remains controversial.
Although its function is not fully understood, studies suggest involvement in inflammation and LPS activation.
