Target Information
IL-3Ra (Interleukin-3 receptor subunit alpha) belongs to the type I cytokine receptor family and forms a heterodimer with the common beta (βc or CDw131) subunit.
IL-3Ra transmits the signal of Interleukin-3, with heterodimerization of IL-3Ra and IL-3Rb induced by Interleukin-3, necessary for receptor activation.
IL-3Ra is overexpressed on acute myeloid leukemia (AML) blasts compared with normal hematopoietic cells, making it a potential target for novel therapeutic agents.
