Target Information
ICAM-1 (CD54)는 85–110 kDa의 단일 사슬형 제1형 막관통 당단백질로, 5개의 면역글로불린 초과가족 반복 구조를 가진 세포외 도메인, 막관통 영역, 세포질 도메인을 포함합니다.
7개의 N-연결 당화 부위를 가지며 ICAM-3 (CD50), ICAM-2 (CD102)와 높은 아미노산 서열 상동성을 보입니다.
ICAM-1은 CD11a/CD18 (LFA-1) 또는 CD11b/CD18 (Mac-1) 인테그린과 결합하며, Rhinovirus의 수용체로 이용됩니다.
활성화된 내피세포, 상피세포, 섬유아세포, 연골세포, B/T 림프구, 단핵구, 대식세포, 수지상세포, 호중구 등에서 발현되며, 염증 시 발현이 증가합니다.
또한 일부 암세포(예: carcinoma, melanoma)에서도 검출되며, 혈장 내 용해형 ICAM-1은 다양한 염증성 질환에서 상승되어 나타납니다.
