Target Information
Rab proteins are integral components of endocytic pathways. Rab 6A is a ubiquitously expressed member of the Rab family that localizes to the Golgi membrane, regulating retrograde transport from late endosomes via the Golgi to the endoplasmic reticulum (ER).
Three isoforms exist due to alternative splicing events: Rab 6A`, Rab 6A, and the brain-specific Rab 6B.
