Pregnancy-associated plasma protein-A (PAPP-A, Insulin-like growth factor binding protein-4 protease, PAPP-A-proMBP complex)는 약 500 kDa의 대형 이종사량체 당단백질로, 임산부의 혈청에서 처음 발견되었습니다. 이 복합체는 두 개의 PAPP-A 서브유닛과 두 개의 proMBP 서브유닛으로 구성됩니다. 임신 초기 혈청 내 PAPP-A의 저농도는 다운증후군(Trisomy 21)의 생화학적 선별 마커로 사용됩니다.
