Carrier-Free
- Reconstitution: Briefly centrifuge vial before opening. Reconstitute recombinant human MIP-3α in sterile distilled water to 0.1–1.0 mg/mL. Make further dilutions in tissue culture-grade buffered solutions with heat-inactivated fetal calf serum or low endotoxin BSA.
- Storage: Lyophilized preparation is stable at 2–8°C; for long-term storage keep at -20°C, preferably desiccated. Store reconstituted aliquots at -20°C and avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles.
Target Information
Macrophage Inflammatory Protein-3 alpha (MIP-3α), also known as CCL20, is expressed in the liver, lungs, lymph nodes, and peripheral blood lymphocytes. MIP-3α is strongly upregulated by inflammatory signals and downregulated by the anti-inflammatory cytokine IL-10. It signals through the G protein-coupled receptor CCR6 and acts as a chemoattractant for lymphocytes and dendritic cells.
